Marketing strategies should be a critical annex (or at least one of your focuses) in your business plan and is very important in developing your brand and getting your message in front of your target audience with the correct messaging to evoke a positive response from them triggering a desire to use your services or products!

Marketing strategies are multifaceted approaches, plans and techniques to getting your pitch for your product or service in front of your target audience and demographic the the correct messaging to evoke a positive response from them.

A marketing plan/strategy helps you focus your efforts in a targeted approach to reach your target audience by narrowing your focus and reaching them in multiple ways and via multiple mediums and methods to create synergy and embed your message in their longer term memory by seeing your message more frequently and providing a way for them to easily respond to your message via research, contacting you or simply purchasing your product or service.

Messaging mediums such as television and other audio visual advertising such as theater screen advertisements before the movies are the singularly more effective by messaging using both visual and audible message but when combining with other mediums and strategies such direct mail campaigns, postcards, business cards, billboard advertising, magazine advertising brochures, promotional give-away products, online presence via a website and/or e-commerce site, phone app, email campaigns, social media presences, etc, you create a lot of synergy in creating a lasting memory in your targeted audience that creates something greater in its lasting effects and evoking responses from your audience.

In general marketing strategy can be complex but it is important to note that it can be utilized to varying degrees or in stages depending on your budget and current needs. For example you may only be able to afford vinyl graphic logos and company contact info for you vehicles windows at this point, or maybe an order of pens to use as giveaways and an order of business cards to leave with potential customers, etc. It all depends on your budget and what can currently provide the best return on your investment (ROI) by generating more business and increased profits.

If you are not researching marketing strategies to focus your efforts and finances on your specific target audience this is a topic you should consider in order to effectively reach your specific audience without wasting money and resources on messaging to audiences who would not be interested in your product or service.
